RIVERSIDE -- Cal State L.A.'s women's soccer team remained unbeaten thanks to a hard-fought victory over NAIA opponent Cal Baptist on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles got a second-half goal from Khadijah Greenwood and defeated Cal Baptist, 1-0, in Riverside. Cal State L.A. (3-0) has allowed only one goal in its first three contests.

The only shot that got past a goaltender, though, came from Greenwood, who scored her fourth goal of the season. She received a through pass from Ana Valverde, found herself one-on-one with the goalie and shot one past Cal Baptist's Emily Evanson for the lone score of the game.

Greenwood and Kastidi Robles each had three shots for the Golden Eagles. Cal State L.A. also had four corner kicks to only one for the Lancers.
Cal State L.A. will return to action next Friday when the Golden Eagles open California Collegiate Athletic Association action against Sonoma State at Jesse Owens Track.
